Today I’ll be reviewing four out of six products that I’ve been using from Pyunkang Yuls’ Acne line set which I won from a giveaway hosted by Go Bloom and Glow.

A little overview about the products:

Pyunkang Yul Acne Facial Cleanser is designed to address blackheads, pores, breakouts, and excess oil, revealing incredibly smooth and radiant results.

Pyunkang Yul Acne Toner Formulated with Willow Bark Extract, it gently exfoliates and rid skin of dead cells. It helps in unclogging pores and targeting the most stubborn pimples caused by bacteria and dead skin for a smoother, healthier-looking complexion. It’s packed with Tiger Lily extract to provide anti-bacterial properties and to flush out acne-bacteria from clogged pores. The formula is further enriched with Madecassoside and Niacinamide to soothe and regenerate the skin. The toner also controls excess sebum production to prevent breakouts.

Pyunkang Yul Acne Cream – a lightweight, oil-free gel cream that soothes acne-prone skin. It delivers rich hydration, conditions damaged skin, soothes and helps improve the look of the overall skin complexion.

Pyunkang Yul Acne Spot Cream provides relief from breakouts effectively. Powered by copper tripeptide and licorice extract, this fast-acting cream calms inflammation and visibly reduces redness for a clearer complexion.

Review:
I’ve been using the Acne Set during the time I’m having some zits due to my monthly period. The cleanser comes in a watery gel type (if you know what I mean) and has little to no scent at all. It cleanses pretty well, love that its non drying but I find it a little mild for my preference. The Acne Toner on the hand is a watery type toner and has a little to scent also. I like that its alcohol free and my skin feels a lot calmer while using this. The Acne cream comes in a gel type form, almost unscented also. I love that its non greasy and absorbs pretty well too. Helps calm my zit and helps prevent potential irritation. Down to the last product I’ve tried the Acne Spot Cream comes in a slender tube type packaging and its colour white, stings a bit when applied on my zit. Maybe that’s how spot cream works, it’s my first time using one coz acne patch is my thing for combating those pesky zits. I find this okay as it helps me calm down my pimple tho I prefer using acne patch better. Overall I did enjoy using these four products I’ve tried from the Acne line and will continue to use it when I’m having acne troubles again. By the way, I have combination skintype but I’m happy that this line worked for me. Of course YMMV. 😊

Notable Ingredients :

Camellia Japonica Seed oil- is an excellent source of Vitamin E, an anti-oxidant. It helps in forming a barrier to prevent outside elements from entering the skin.
Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract 5,000ppm –  it is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids, AHAs are known to help exfoliate, control oily skin and clogged pores, all of which can encourage fresher, younger, and smoother looking skin

Honeysuckle flower extract – known to improve uneven skin tone and dullness
Adenosine – has proven anti-wrinkle benefits due to its ability to energize skin’s surface so it looks smoother and younger
Collagen – helps to achieve firmer, plumper, more youthful looking skin.

Packaging – tube type packaging with 60ml. of the product
Scent – light fresh floral scent
Color and texture – has light pink hue and gel like texture

Review:
✔️ Lightweight gel type cream which I am fond of using
✔️ No tackiness and absorbs pretty well too
✔️ Didn’t irritate my skin nor broke me out
✔️ A little goes a long way for me (using this during my night routine only)
✔️ Made my skin soft and plump
✔️ Didn’t clog my pores
✔️ I think it did help me a bit with my pih too, of course with the help of the other products I’m using.
⛔ Not a con but since it feels very lightweight I think it’s not hydrating enough for dry skintype but since I have combination skintype it doesn’t bother me at all
Overall I did enjoy using this cream and will continue using this until the last drop.

𝖳𝖾𝗑𝗍𝗎𝗋𝖾 – gel like consistency
𝖲𝖼𝖾𝗇𝗍 – smells like rose IMO

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
✔️ Lightweight and non sticky
✔️ Absorbs easily without a tacky feeling
✔️ Skin feels soft and plump
✔️ Made my skin glow
⛔ Not a con but I’m not sure if it really did lighten my acne marks as I’m already using a Niacinamide in my routine also.
Overall I did enjoy using this serum but I’m focusing more on getting rid of my pih and I think a potent vitamin C serum is more of my preference. Of course YMMV.

SHORT REVIEW:
✔️ Love that its a sachet type packaging coz its travel friendly
✔️ Has a slightly viscous texture but I was amazed it does not feel tacky when applied onto skin
✔️ smells like Aloe gel IMO
✔️ fast absorbing and leaves no tacky feeling at all, I can easily proceed to my next routine
✔️ Made my skin soft and plump
✔️ Skin feels hydrated
⛔ Not a con but I wish it comes in a bigger size I mean this 20g is not enough for me
⛔ Has Phenoxyethanol (known to cause allergic-type reactions on the skin in some people) good thing this essence didn’t irritate my skin.
