[Review] The Inkeylist Squalane Oil

Who loves face oil? ME ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

I love using face oils in my night routine as I think it gave my skin an extra level of protection and aids in strengthening my skin barrier. It also helps with TEWL too. So what’s a Squalane oil?

The first thing to know about squalane is that it’s the hydrogenated, shelf-stable version of squalene (with an “e”). “Squalene is a lipid, a.k.a. a fat, that is naturally produced by the oil glands in our skin to hydrate and maintain the barrier of our skin, excellent emollient properties, meaning it can keep your skin hydrated and moisturized. It is a great moisturizer as it is easily absorbed and prevents water loss from the skin. Squalane can also increase the luminosity and vibrancy of skin, lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and even help reduce redness. “Squalane oil actually helps to repair the barrier of your skin. https://bit.ly/2Nx3Dg6

My Experience:
Hands down to this Squalane oil, it instantly became my fave oil to date. Its lightweight, non greasy, non comedogenic and probably one of the best oils I’ve tried. It’s an all rounder product that I usually add to my moisturizer and lotions but I prefer using this as is. I apply 2-3drops of this oil as the last step of my night routine and voila I woke up with plump glowing skin every morning. I also had some irritation before probably due to frequent hand washing, my hands became dry, flaky and had some painful blisters/rash that I even use hand gloves when doing the dishes but thanks to this amazing oil it did wonders and heal my skin. The only drawback that I can think is I’m not a fan of its packaging, ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ a dropper or pump bottle would be a better option in my opinion. Nonetheless I love this and I don’t mind repurchasing this in the future. I still wanna try other Squalane oil from different brands though. How about you, do you use face oils? What’s your fave? Comment down below.

Happy weekend and stay safe always. ๐Ÿ™‚
